Over the past few months, Yumi has been undergoing a transformation — into a new company with a fresh team, focused on building a marketplace for Real World Assets (RWA).
Why This Change?
In the last two years, Yumi evolved from an NFT marketplace into a platform focused on tokenizing real-world assets, aligning with our belief in the immense potential of asset tokenization. Our journey included launching innovative projects like Julie Opie, the world’s first fractionalized fine art piece, fully owned and governed by collectors.
Additionally, we partnered with Gold DAO to launch the Gold NFT Marketplace, facilitating its inaugural year of trading activities. These milestones were made possible through your trust and support, and we remain committed to delivering a specialized platform that advances the tokenization of real-world assets.
As part of this commitment, Yumi is now transitioning to a new entity with updated branding. We aim to bring a better platform and a better user experience to the RWA market.

We are taking a pause on the operation. However your assets on Yumi are safe. We recommend taking the following actions to ensure seamless continuity:
Gold NFTs
If you own GLD NFTs purchased from Yumi, please ensure they are stored in a wallet linked to Yumi (e.g., one connected through Internet Identity). For example, you may transfer your NFTs to a wallet like Plug.
You can continue trading GLD NFTs on gold.bity.com, a regulated broker in Switzerland.
Julie Opie Artwork
To holders of fractionalized shares in Julie Opie, we’d like to inform you that an investor has expressed interest in purchasing the entire artwork. To facilitate this, we have initiated a voting process, and your participation will determine the next steps.
