Yumi recently upgraded the user interface. Here, we’d like to provide some tips:
a- What should I do while buying an NFT?
To prevent unsuccessful transactions, the user should refrain from refreshing the page after clicking the buy button while the transaction is being processed.
b- What should I do if my transaction fails?
In case you experience a failed transaction on Yumi, do not worry because Yumi typically refunds the ICP within 1 hour. The user can also reach out to our moderators by opening a ticket in Yumi’s official Discord channel
c- What should I do if I’m experiencing trouble accessing Yumi marketplace?
It’s crucial to us that our users are aware that Dfinity canisters are running in the Yumi back-end environment. We do advise the user to confirm the following details regarding the device or access environment:
- Do I have enough mobile data?
- Do I have enough Wifi signal?
- Do I need a VPN to access Yumi?
- Do I have the right wallet?
- Do I have enough ICP for the transaction?
d- How to buy NFTs on Yumi’s Launchpad
The process for minting NFTs on Yumi Marketplace is as follows on the desktop:
Go over Yumi.io , then click on the Launchpad tab

e- Find the “buy” button
Usually, Yumi offers 3 buy buttons: buy 1 NFT, buy 5 NFT, and buy 10 NFT. The user is responsible for choosing their desired option before clicking the “buy now” button.
f- Which wallet is compatible with Yumi
Yumi is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices (IOS and Android). Below, we’ll list the wallets that are compatible with each environment.
Desktop (AstroX Me, Bitfinity, Internet Identity, Plug Wallet, NFID, Stoic)
On mobile (AstroX Me, Internet Identity, NFID, Stoic). All users should be aware that Plug wallet is not supported on iOS, so we advise them to migrate to another wallet for example Stoic wallet by exporting the “Pem file”
g- How to export Plug wallet Pem file to Stoic as an example
Note: Plug IOS and Android users can export their wallet data (in the form of a Pem file) and then import it into Stoic wallet.
Process: go to Settings > Export DFX Identity
Import Pem file into stoic wallet on mobile
Right after exporting the DFX identity from Plug, make sure to save it on your phone in a folder manager and then open the Stoic wallet and click on “Import an existing wallet”
Then select the second option “Import using a Pem File”
The next step would be to locate the Pem file saved on your file manager, then upload it accordingly.
h- Overloaded canister/Slow transaction
Users’ requests might take a little longer to complete while minting an NFT collection on the launchpad; this is usually due to the canister being overloaded from handling too many requests concurrently.
The IC community has addressed this problem numerous times, and hopefully, the Dfinity team can find a solution regarding the matter. Users are highly encouraged to be patient and keep trying.
i- Where can I find the upcoming NFT collection on the launchpad
On the launchpad, each new NFT collection has a countdown timer in addition to being located beneath past launches. However, once the countdown is complete, it takes over the top position.
Please take note that this mechanism may experience significant modifications in our upcoming new launchpad which should be available in two weeks.
2- Display
a- Delay in NFT displays while browsing Yumi
This issue is partly related to 1-g overloaded canister and the user-end internet connection. Once more, we strongly recommend refreshing the browser. while browsing the Yumi marketplace at least once.
